Deadline: 30 June 2026

To continue booking GLS DK shipments in Ship, customers currently using UniBox must migrate to the GLS REST API by 30 June 2026. After this date, UniBox will be decommissioned and no longer supported. 

Why the change? 

GLS is moving to a modern REST API to improve stability, security, scalability, and long-term support. The GLS REST API fully replaces UniBox. 

What does this mean for you? 

If you are using GLS Denmark A/S (11) with UniBox, you must switch to GLS API DK (951) to continue booking shipments. 

✅ No action is required if you already use the GLS REST API. 

Required credentials for shipment booking 

To switch to the GLS REST API, you need: 

• Username
• Password 
• CustomerID 
• ContactID 

These credentials are required for authentication and shipment booking and can be obtained from GLS. Contact GLS IT Support at +45 76 33 12 35 or it@gls-denmark.com.
